Saint Louis begins the second half of the season with their first home game, hosting a combination of Minnesota and Kansas City. As the Blues prepare for the USAFL Nationals, they will battle the heat as well as these familiar faces. Continuing a common trend of the season, St. Louis has two players eager to make their USAFL debut for the team in Pat Frew and Adrian Mehdirad.
The most recent match-up against Kansas City was at the Slab Tournament in May 2025. Kansas City hosted St. Louis, Oklahoma, and Des Moines in a round robin tournament to open the season. The Blues came out on top in that meeting, winning 39-0. St. Louis would also go on to win the tournament.
St. Louis and Minnesota recently faced each other at the 2025 USAFL Central Regionals tournament. After playing two full games, the Blues and the Freeze would be each other’s final match-up of the day. After a well-fought and physical 40 minutes of play, Minnesota would see themselves as the victors, winning 46-9. The Blues will aim to bounce back against the folks from up North.
