It may have been Mother's Day weekend but Alex Tajkowski and the Defrosters took over dad's thermostat. Saturday's matchup saw the 2024 Metro debut of City Hall's captain Joel Friesen who helped control the midfield in a back and forth game. This allowed for a much different outcome than the first round routing of City Hall. While leading going into the 4th term, City Hall began to feel the pressure of the constituents and saw their small lead in the polls switch over in favor of the Defrosters.

Josh Kandy of the Defrosters took home Best on Ground for his constant involvement in play and going 5.2.32 on the day.
