2011 USAFL Nationals

The 2011 USAFL National Tournament is upon us, and the Blues are combining with Louisville and Cincinnati again to form the Ohio Valley River Rats. This year the tournament is in Austin and has been difficult for our guys to make it. So, due to numbers, we're picking up some players from Milwaukee as well. The Blues are sending veterans Dan Sergott and Jamie Wilson, as well as Dave Zitko playing his sophomore season with the club.

The River Rats will be playing in Division 4 this year, which has three pools of three teams. The Rats are in Pool C with Las Vegas and Golden Gate/LA and play two matches on Saturday, one at 2:00 PM and one at 5:00 PM. The teams will then be seeded after Saturday and will play in a semi-final match and a final match on Sunday. The Rats have faced some tough competition this year throughout the Midwest and have pulled up well given the quality of the teams they've played.
